questions about our container hire and delivery

FAQ's

Are the cabins for hire or sale?

"We are mainly a hire company, however we can sell units from our existing hire fleet providing we have enough stock to."

Are there delivery and collection costs?

"Yes, the transport charges depend on where in the country the units are being delivered too."

Can cabins be sited anywhere?

"The access is restricted by the size of the vehicle delivering it. If there is a doubt we can arrange an access visit to assess the situation, upon request.
Please note that our vehicles cannot drive on grass."

Can the cabins stack on top of each other?

"Yes a majority of the cabins will stack on top of other cabins providing they are the same size."

Do you connect the cabins to water waste and power on site?

"We deliver the cabin to site and level it. Then it is the hirer’s responsibility to connect the cabin to services."

Do you need planning permission for cabins?

"Yes, cabins sited for more than 28 days may require planning, however they are a portable structure and we advise you to speak to your local planning office before placing your order. It is the hirers responsibility to organise any planning permission required." If in doubt, please contact your local authority.

Do you supply toilets as well as cabins?

"Yes we supply plastic service toilets as well as a range of plumbed toilet blocks."

If there is a problem with the cabin whilst on hire who repairs it?

"Manchester Cabins will carry out any repairs needed. This may be chargeable if it is not general maintenance of the hire cabin."

What Cabins do you have?
