Q: Are the cabins for hire or sale?

A: We are mainly a hire company, however we can sell units from our existing hire fleet providing we have enough stock.

Q: Are there delivery and collection costs?

A: Yes, the transport charges depend on where in the country the units are being delivered too.

Q: Can cabins be sited anywhere?

A: The access is restricted by the size of the vehicle delivering it, if there is a doubt we can arrange a free access visit to assess the situation. Please note that our vehicles can not drive on grass.

Q: Can the cabins stack on top of each other?

A: Yes a majority of the cabins will stack on top of other cabins providing they are the same size.

Q: Do you connect the cabins to water waste and power on site?

A: We deliver the cabin to site and level it. Then it is the hirer’s responsibility to get the cabins connected to services.

Q: Do you need planning permission for cabins?

A: Yes, cabins sited for more than 28 days may require planning, however they are a portable structure and we advise you to speak to your local planning office before placing your order. It is the hirers responsibility to organise any Planning Permission required.

Q: Do you supply toilets as well as cabins?

A: Yes we supply plastic service toilets as well as a range of plumbed toilet blocks.

Q: If there is a problem with the cabin whilst on hire who repairs it?

A: Manchester Cabins will carry out any repairs needed, this may be chargeable if it is not general maintenance of the hire cabin.

Q: What Cabins do you have?

A: We have a range of units including Jackleg Cabins, Anti Vandal cabins, Storage Containers, Service Toilets, Toilet Blocks and a range of facilitiy units from our sister company, Bunkabin including Site Sleepers, Toilet & Shower Blocks and Diners.

Q: What is the shortest period people have the cabins?

A: You can have them for 1 day , however there is a minimum hire charge of 4 weeks. This covers the cleaning and testing of the units prior to delivery.

Q: Who insures the cabins whilst they are on site?

A: It is the hirer or buyers responsibility to insure the cabins whilst on site.
